Using our website and booking

These terms apply to healthlinkmassage.com and bookings for Healthlink Massage services. The clinic identified in your booking provides your appointment and treatment. Other businesses listed on the booking platform may have their own terms.

Use the website lawfully and do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access or submit misleading or harmful information. Website content is provided for general information and does not replace an individual assessment by an appropriate health professional.

Your appointment

Before confirming, check the clinic, service, price, therapist, date and time. Provide accurate contact details so your clinic can communicate with you. If you book for someone else, make sure you are authorised to provide their details.

A successful online booking displays a confirmation and booking reference. Keep these details. If you do not see a confirmation, or anything appears incorrect, contact the clinic before making a duplicate booking.

Available services, practitioners and appointment times vary by clinic. Contact the clinic if you need help choosing a service or have accessibility or other appointment requirements.

Prices and payments

Check the price and any payment conditions shown or explained before you confirm your appointment. Ask your clinic about anything that is unclear. Any additional service or charge should be explained and agreed before it is provided.

If you plan to claim a private health insurance benefit, check your cover and the eligibility of the clinic, practitioner and treatment with your insurer. A benefit or rebate is not guaranteed by making a booking.

Changes, cancellations and missed appointments

Contact your clinic as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an appointment, or expect to arrive late. The clinic can explain the available options.

Any cancellation, late-arrival or missed-appointment conditions, including a charge, must be disclosed before you confirm your booking. These terms do not introduce a standard cancellation period or a separate cancellation fee. Any clinic-specific conditions remain subject to Australian consumer law.

If the clinic cannot provide your booked service, it will contact you to discuss a suitable alternative or a refund of any amount paid for the service that will not be provided.

Treatment, comfort and consent

Tell your practitioner about relevant health conditions, injuries, medications, allergies or pregnancy before treatment, and let them know if your circumstances change. Your practitioner may discuss an adjustment to treatment or recommend other healthcare advice where appropriate.

You can ask questions, request a change in pressure or technique, or ask to pause or stop treatment. Consent to a booking does not replace consent to the treatment itself.

Please treat staff, practitioners and other clients respectfully. A practitioner may decline or stop a treatment if it is unsafe or inappropriate. Any payment or refund issue will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer rights.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law.

If a service does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as having the problem addressed, a refund or cancellation, depending on the circumstances. Contact the clinic so it can understand your concern and respond. You can also read the ACCC's information about consumer rights.

Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled, including online bookings and your choices. Reading or accepting these terms does not, by itself, provide consent for every use of health information or for marketing.

Our website links to the online booking service and other external services. Separate terms and privacy policies may apply when you use them. Please review any terms presented before using a third-party service.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms for future website use and bookings. The date at the top identifies the current version. An update does not retrospectively change the agreed terms of an existing booking without your agreement or another lawful basis.
